Licensing and the PSRA

Cronin Naughton Auctioneers and Letting Agents are fully licensed by the Property Services Regulatory Authority (PSRA). The PSRA was established on 3 April 2012 following the Property Services (Regulation) Act 2011 (the Act) and is the statutory body with responsibility for licensing and regulating the property services sector in Ireland.

The Act establishing the PSRA provides for the licensing of four categories of Property Services Providers (PSP):
  • Licence Category A – Auctioneers:
Persons engaged in the auction of property other than land.

  • Licence Category B – Estate Agents:
Persons engaged in the purchase or sale of land by whatever means.

  • Licence Category C – Letting Agents:
Persons engaged in the letting of land.

  • Licence Category D – Management Agents:
Persons engaged in the provision of property management services on behalf of Management Bodies.

Cronin Naughton Auctioneers and Letting Agents are fully licensed to provide services in all four categories: A, B, C and D. This means we go through the process of an annual license renewal and must adhere to all regulations.

Cronin Naughton Auctioneers and Letting Agents are fully insured with Professional Indemnity Insurance.

Sarah Cronin and Bryan Naughton are members of the Institute of Professional Auctioneers and Valuers and an MMCEPI.
